Make sure you always come across as well (or otherwise) in real life as you do on here. Your inherent pleasantness (or otherwise) is bound to rub off on him.

Also, have you considered home-schooling him? The likes of the Iona Institute are big into that. It'll inevitably turn him into a weird freak, but at least he won't be a left-wing one.
