    Where is he now?

God knows After Hours could do with him. The third reich would feel at home in Boards' AH forum. A hotbed of hate, racism, intolerance and bigotry. The human race continues to regress.

Ten years ago After Hours held events for new members to attend. Many friendships began, some romances. Bring a can of carnation milk. Seems almost impossible to believe now, yet this was 2008, not 1922.

10 years ago i liked going to pubs.

Now they're just full of tossers with no socks. Sooner stay in and have a cup of tea.

Mental Note: You're a re-reg of PigHead. Even talking in the third-person still.

I feel disappointed. When I was a student, hate was the last thing on my mind. I wanted to meet everyone and learn everything. My mind was expanding like crazy, new religions, new food, new cultures, new music, new films, new thinking, new exotic people.

Politics was the last thing on my mind. Hate, oppression, supporting politicians? When Primal Scream are playing Glastonbury?

    Je suis Pighead

(Obviously I'm not -- a basic awareness of any language, including English, gave me away)

Dude, this is your second such thread. Pighead's favourite album is Dog Man Star too (remember from the music forum he mentioned it a good bit) - hmmmm...?

In fairness registration date doesn't mean anything since the close account button was brought in.

I'm on and off Boards years and years.

Pighead and me had our run-ins in the glory days, but correct, we had a lot of music in common. My favourite album remains Sci-Fi Lullabies, and I'm fairly sure Pighead's was Laid by James.

What happened to the days of dozens of Boards' members meeting at a pub in the city centre? I remember distinctly the more shy members being accompanied by more outgoing members beforehand.

Same. I've been here since 2003, and I can't even remember my original login. So good luck to the mods trying to figure that one out.

He’s still active up until an hour ago according to a basic search ...

He’s an awful swine anyway ...

I'm sure the recent pride weekend brought all the memories flooding back.

I remember all seven of my previous usernames since 2001 and tbh it’s pretty cringey when I read back on ‘their’ posts :o

It's ok to re reg after you close an account.

It's re regging after a site ban that's the no-no. Even then they'll consider letting you stay if your next account isn't one acting the maggot.

And there we go. That is a comment that Roy "Chubby" Brown could have made in 1992 that the audience would have groaned at. Jesus, what happened in education, when did this massive backward step kick in? Seems crazy, utterly embarrassing for someone to make an innuendo like this in 2019!!!!!!

I'm 43 and I would feel like me oul fella coming out with that guff. There will be a "puff" reference next.

I always assumed that he was somewhere on the spectrum.

Just going by his posts obviously.

Never mind Pig Head, where is the Backwards man, used to absolutely live on here at one stage.

I was beyond a pain in the hole. Apologies to those I was a gimp to if any are here and know who I was.

I know some would recognise me now but I'd say some would be surprised as numerous views of mine have changed so much.

AH used to be a welcoming, sometimes funny forum. What happened?

Maybe we should open an AH forum for the old school AH posters?

Yeah, probably still in your shame phase.

I'm almost nostalgic for the scutter brigade reading this tripe.

What does this mean? "scutter brigade"? I was 15 once, I was always articulate. It didn't attract many girls, but I always insisted.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 410 ✭✭Dog Man Star

Yeah, probably still in your shame phase.

What does that mean? Do they even know? My shame is lifelong, woe but it was in phases.

Yep. I re-regged after closing my account (not because of a ban, don't think anyone very banned me as Later12)

I really believe the death-knell of this site was when it allowed people to close their accounts. I think it was a legal requirement, but was nevertheless a pitiful day.
