    Google will give you a lot of step by step fixes for this.

    Do you have your windows installation disk/key?

    i can get one. boot up and choose repair ?

    Boot from dvd and

    >Repair Your Computer
    >Troubleshoot
    >Advanced Options
    >Automatic Repair let it run

    completes and reboot. And you'll either get the same message again or with a bit of luck everything will be back to normal.
