It's visually spectacular but dumb as a big box of rocks. Think Roland Emmerich. Great fun if that's what you're expecting, but it's in no way even attempting to be hard sci-fi or anything like it.
Re The Wandering Earth: This! ^^

    I liked it.

fresh prince of bel air (6 seasons )
    District 9

    added yesterday also
Wasn't the fresh prince up there all ready ? I mean clearly not but I could have sworn it was up there.

Anyway there's a new show added called the last czars which follows the last czar of Russia Nicholas the second. I've not watched it yet but a quick glance at imdb for a review seems to say that it's doing the talking heads mixed with actors which I don't like. Either pick one way or the other. I mean imagine if they had made the crown like that with clare foy and Matt smith doing what they did very well with historians cutting in and explaining things.

Maybe go and watch it before you criticise it? FFS

I'm sure it's well made but I don't like this way of doing things. Pick one and do that well. Have you watched it seeing as how you're telling me to watch it ? Is it good ?

A little vom made its way up the throat when that flatulent, Oscar Wilde wannabe Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen appeared on the screen for the second series. Thankfully, he was easy enough to ignore.

God, that lad is a glass and a half of monkey-tit milk...

Yes just finished the first series. I have to say I preferred the first set of contestants over the 2nd but I loved it.

    The views alone are stunning

    Will watch second series now..

As opposed to cow-tit milk or sheep/goat-tit milk which we are mostly all happy to drink?

Watching the last czars. It’s a mix between drama and documentary based on Nicholas II’s reign. Liking it so far, just one episode in.

Maybe it was. I've seen things appearing in the new list that were already there. Maybe a renewal? One recently was in my list, then saw it in the "newly added" list on Flixable. So looked on netflix and was still on my list.

Do you know the actor that is playing Rasputin? His face is so familiar.

How do they portray Rasputin’s interventions with their son’s bleeds in The Last Czars?

Blocking the use of aspirin and other damaging practices were realistically the only ways he could have genuinely helped. Anything beyond that was showmanship.

Just watched Atomic Blonde with Charlize Theron. Enjoyable watch, a funky kind of espionage thriller in Berlin in late 80's.
    Good soundtrack too.

Weird seeing how fast the kids from ST are growing up. The 80s nostalgia is still great, having been a kid in the US in the 80s the mall scenes are really on point. But the story is pretty meh so far.

I watched about 5 mins of that 'Tales of the City' even tho I could tell it would be overly precious muck and geez it was just the epitome of a Netflix original.

Every Netflix original just HAS to prove how progressive they are, shoehorning in gay characters and gay love scenes, cast has to be as diverse as the UN. I don't mind those things except its so obviously forced and just pandering. It's like they create shows based on what's trending on social media. Plots don't matter just be woke. And have lots of sex and cursing to prove how edgy the show can be. Again, dont mind sex or cursing but it's not done for any reason other than trying really hard to be cool.

It even seems like they are going to shoehorn some gayness into ST now, unless I'm reading a certain scene/line totally wrong.

I also watched some of Murder Mystery and good lord that was awful. At this point Netflix Originals is the equivalent of direct to video in the 90s. No wonder people just start making out instead of watching them they are dreadfully uninspired, good production values but hacky AF writing.

I’m enjoying this too but Rasputin is annoying me with his Sheffield/Yorkshire accent & the Fakest McFaker beard I’ve seen in a long time.

Watching "Bolivar" on Netflix. I like that its in Spanish language as thats more true to life. The series is about the Hispanic-American revolutionary Simon Bolivar. Parts of it remind me a bit of the series "Roots" because there's a lot in it depicting slavery in Spanish America at the time.

Watched the first episode of series three of stranger things and I'm liking it. Those kids have grown up a lot in two years though.
