Okay, a quick ISO, and I agree you did switch around. Actually, I should have remembered as you and Duff were the two to vote outside your FFAs and not for those in the race.

    Some interesting stuff here:

#FFA1 ( I apologize to all 3, my reasons are flimsy but there’s not much to go on)

QB seems like she’s been trying unsuccessfully to start a wagon on G&R. I don’t find his posts wolfie so can’t see where she’s coming from.

Clara sorry but joking or not you said you’re a wolf. I admit it would be a ballsy move for a wolf, but that could just be what you want us to think.

Tusk you say there’s not a wolf in the running because there’s no chaos, but yet you seem to be trying to cause chaos with you’re ever changing ffa’s.

    Never answered me on this:

I'm not. My vote isn't even on him. If you look back anything accusatory I posted was in response to his in the first place. Starting with him asking who I voted for. I had and wasn't going to say until he asked.
    Whiplashy wrote: »
I’ve put in a vote already but willing to change if that’s what the majority want. I will point out just to be petty that anytime I’ve brought up how we’re going to vote in previous games I’ve been accused of being a wolf for it for some reason so I’m p****d off no ones accusing Sulli! (I don’t think you’re a wolf Sulli it’s just always annoyed me that gets used against me!)
    Whiplashy wrote: »
I’m happy to move too if there’s enough on her.
    Whiplashy wrote: »
For the purpose of clarity when we’re analyzing the votes later, I’ve not actually voted for strawbs yet I was waiting to see if she’d mount a defense. I’m currently on QB. I’ll almost certainly change I’m just not 100% who yet.
    Whiplashy wrote: »
Strawbs is right. I’m leaving my vote on QB.

I wouldn’t buy Sulli as a wolf at the moment.

    Possibly calling out fellow wolf:

He’s been really flying under the radar. Any reason we shouldn’t lynch you duffer?

Out of kitten and Clara I’d vote kitten, even though Clara was on my ffa

Desperation. I don’t know where to vote. I have G&R, Sully & Trit as village, and the rest of you I haven’t a clue.

In answer to Trit, this is the reason she voted Kitten:
    Whiplashy wrote: »
She did genie earlier which isn’t usually a good sign.
    Whiplashy wrote: »
I think at least 1 of kitten, Strawbs or QB is a wolf.
    Whiplashy wrote: »
Gut feel? G&Rs ISO helped with Strawbs. I think tusk is too disorganized to be a wolf but I wouldn’t totally rule it out.

I don’t like having first action be a lynch!

And this is EXTREMELY interesting considering your objection to it for the second lynch!!

    I have no backroom :)

Also if I were a wolf I’d have declared myself the seer last night when the CFD was suggested to get Ecto to out herself. Feel free to note that for future games :D

Who are your thoughts for the last two wolves, and why?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Whiplashy

Well obviously I don’t like CFDs on me but also I haven’t seen someone try start two in one game never mind two nights in a row. It’s suspicious.

Also can we disregard anything wolfie mcwolf face is saying? He’s clearing trying to screw with us and we’ve no way of knowing if it’s bluff or double bluff.

Either kitten or Clara for one. Kitten for basically clearing me in an ISO not long after I called her out for throwing shade, Clara is gut feel and I don’t see them on the same team.

Either duff or kolido for the second because they’re trying to coast by under the radar and there’s usually a low posting wolf.

And just to be completely open and honest, this exchange between Duff and GnR. It *could* play either way as W/W or W/V:

Though it doesn't show Duff in a good light either. I was congratulating us all in actually pulling off a full-participation in FFAs for the first lynch. But Duff goes and admits that his 3 were actually a joke. And he never came back in the hours afterwards to provide an actual list, even when everyone else did. At best, this is a poor villager move.

Desperate wolf being desperate! I like your endeavours though QB, it's nice of you to put up a bit of a fight

Hang on, I voted for tusk, who had 8 FFAs, whom I'd shone a light on earlier in the day for potential wolfy behaviour! Your poorly and deliberately misrepresenting the facts!

Yes you did. I keep forgetting Strawbs, who got voted off, wasn't even in the race, and Tusk, who didn't, was.

Still, same question to you, who do you think are GnR's team-mates?

Why'd you quote my ISO of Whippy when asking me that, btw?

Why are people giving their ffas for tomorrow, you're giving munch ideas. 2 kills before tomorrows lynch.

Just on this, Sully my reading is that you're saying you voted for Strawbs (outside of your FFA) because she was in the running in the FFA compilation?

Cause she wasn't as far as I recall?

That's actually true. I'd assumed she was, until I looked back.

Annoyingly it was GnR who called me out on it last time too! Brain fart, that I keep forgetting who was in the race, tbh.

GnR's response when I said my initial vote was on Duff. Just to note.

Duff's ISO on Tusk. Okay, Tusk turned out to be a Villager, but it's also a good post. It's noted.

Weird. I'm trying not to tunnel, and not use confirmation bias, so I picked an exchange that could show you in a good light (not wolf, even if not super-helpful villager) and yet you attack me for it?

Your house is safe, just checked in with, the wolves are able to change their target right up til the munch is posted on thread.

We won't get any analysis tonight, figured FFA for tomorrow might help with discussion tomorrow. I don't understand your point though, the wolves know everything though, they know who to munch....

What is majority voting? As soon as we get n-1/2 then it's a lynch?

    Check in where?

Sure they know who to munch, but they need to do it with strategy to win. We give them lynch targets and they will not munch them

    The day 3 has ended.

Green&Red : quickbeam, Baggly, Whiplashy, kitten_k, Clarabel, sullivlo, duffman13, Kolido

Green&Red has been lynched, they were a wolf.

    Night 3 has begun.

Day 4 will begin as soon as the munch is finalized and will end either at 10pm tomorrow or when a majority lynch has been reached.

Cease posting until the munch post.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,404 ✭✭✭✭sKeith

There was some mention of speed days on thread.

This is now fully in the hands of the players.

The format has been modified so that if you can agree on a munch lynch ( I'm not a wolf, honest ), you can end the day early.
Wolves can give me final answers on their targets and end nights early.

If the players don't reach a majority, the game continues on at scheduled pace.

Hope that answers the speed days question.

I will pose the pause for the weekend question at some stage tomorrow.

Night 3 ends, sullivlo was found dead, a vanilla villager.
    Day 4 begins here.

Haven't voted yet. But think Whippy is the way to go.

    I'm pretty sure she's a wolf

And her flip will tell us loads, especially in relation to Clara and kitten.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

There's also stuff I thought of with fresh perspective this morning that I'd like to do some research on. Stuff unrelated to Whippy and Duffman as I really don't want to tunnel them either, in case I'm wrong about them.

The first one, probably clutching at straws here, but, this is right after Ecto's munch:
    Baggly wrote: »
    GNR saving kitten d1?
Kitten votes tusk d1 knowing he is village.
QB with a throwaway vote so as to not be seen wagoning (and actually, for all her talk of flexibility, she stuck to voting for me and not flexing with the village).

GNR knows tusk being killed flips him green. Doesnt want to be on that wagon. Votes me early and 'forgets' to switch votes.
Its tight if the goal was to avoid kitten being killed. Not sure they knew how close though.
    Another throwaway vote by QB.

Clara got the killing vote on Tusk. Difficult to interpret this since her d1 vote was a throwaway.

You can probably sub in Duffers for GNR in the above scenario (kitten, GNR/duffers, qb wolf team). Duffers jumps on tusk d1 knowing he is village to save kitten. Doesnt jump on SM to avoid seeming wagony.

    Then reaction to Ecto's munch:
    Baggly wrote: »
    AH FOR **** SAKE.

Clara queries this with him, quoting his first post above, and bolding the "GNR knows...." sentence:
    Clarabel wrote: »
Did you write this prior to Ecto as seer going?

Bags says he posted as soon as he saw sKeith had posted but only read it later:
    Baggly wrote: »
Yeah this morning. Posted it when i saw sK had posted in thread. Then read thread.

    So, my observation:
    (1) I think Bags is calling out GnR in his first post, and as GnR turns out to be a wolf, this is to his, Bags' credit.
    (2) but, why did Bags post without reading? Was it just an error in judgement, or was it a case that he knew that he himself wasn't the munchee and that it was safe to do so?
