I just look at the chart and it's down down down. The five year looks terrible. What are we missing?

Price of €9.70 is very tempting, but some of the gloss has certainly worn off Ryanair. Maybe hovering around €10 is the new price range ?

Took a nibble myself ...hopefully it at least gets back to €10.50 and I'll probably cash out again ;)

Iag has a pe of under three right now, the airline sector traditionally has a lower PE, Ryanair has always had a higher one due to high growth, that perception has been tested

I see no recovery this year, easyjet is terrible too

RyanAir is interesting. I flew with them as late as yesterday, and it was my experience that things are not as optimized as they should be.

For example, they deliberately make sure that people who have not reserved seats on their flights will not sit together.

My experience was that many people did not reserve seats on the plane, so instead of just exchanging seats with other passengers on the plane. It seems here that RyanAir does themselves a disservice as consumers are working their way around their system.

I couldn't believe this, yet it's more or less true.

    A P/E ratio of under 5.

Ryanair €9.92 at the moment anyone having a nibble. Results announced weren't great, but not terrible either. Might be a buying opportunity ?

It initially shot up to €10.35 on the news but fell again. Can't understand why.

ryanair snapped up cheap stock today expect a shape rise in the morning

Considering buying a few Ryanair shares to keep medium term

Is there a connection between the USD Ryanair shares and the EUR shares (which closed at approx E9.88). If the EUR shares are expected to rise in the morning, wouldn't people buy the USD shares now (which have decreased slightly in the past 3 hours)?

Do you have some way to check the expected opening price for tomorrow (EURO) and how do you know about Ryanair buying their own stock today? Cant find anything when I google it

    Thanks

Boeing situation has to be a factor in the share price

I've bought it a few times in the last year when it dipped below 10, don't know how many times I can do this before I start to doubt it can rise back up to 16+

As thing stand I think getting above 12 will be a struggle. things have changed a lot since 16. Gone are the days of cheap fuel and low wages so keeping a handle on costs, which was their main USP, is now a headwind. We are about to enter the age of carbon tax and how that will impact air travel is uncertain. It will definitely make it more expensive and slow sales. until we know for sure airlines will be tagged as risky by the markets.

I imagine Ryanair are snapping up shares themselves. They bought a load at over €15 in the last few years. They say there's a buy back in 2019 of €750m and €700m in 2020.

Do they have to announce this to the stockmarket when they do it? Do they then remove these shares from the market? How much of an affect would that likely have on the price, presuming they can get them cheap?

At the Q2 announcement they said that they only bought 100m out of the 700m approved by Directors. If BREXIT happens they need to compulsorily acquire UK shares and 600million won't go far.

I think they're just removing voting rights from UK shareholders. Think I read 51% of shares are already held by EU investors so that's enough. After Bexit any UK shareholder selling shares will have to sell them to an EU based investor.

Wonder is it a major correction or reaction to brexit max issue or is it a combination of both
