I melted the tops of the kitchen drawers - is it possible to repair them?

I have kitchen units covered in a white gloss. I am not sure what the cover is, plastic or some other substance, but on one of the large drawers I accidentally melted away some of it in the groove of the drawer.

Is there any way to fix this?
Would I have to get a new drawer front, or would it get re-dipped or could I spray something like liquid plastic on to it?
I am finding it very hard to search anything online, as it comes back with completely different results.

You can't unmelt you kitchen. It's most likely something like melamine. Most likely the damaged parts need replacing

Thanks, didn't think I could unmelt it, thought maybe could cover it somehow or repair where the wood is exposed. I'll look into replacing.

Maybe I came off sounding like I was trying to be smartin first post. If you post a pic someone might have some good advice for you

I noticed today it's actually come away from the wood.

Somebody told me to look up the panel centre and get a new drawer front. Is that possible, and would it cost a lot?

To me it looks like it's not that visible. I'd paint it with whit paint close the drawer and forgot about it

Might you be able to fix the drawer front on upside down, so the damage is at the bottom?

It's fairly visible unfortunately, and when I saw it this morning I realised it has peeled quite a bit.

Unfortunately not, the 'handle' for the drawer is at the top, and the two drawers underneath are the the same.

I am not sure they would match up anyway, but the bottom drawer would be hard to open if I flipped them all.

I will look into the panel centre place, as I hadn't realised it may be possible to buy a drawer front.
Are there any other places like the panel centre worth looking at? (I was told they may not have my drawer style).
