Irish soccer fans at Irish soccer games singing chants in English accents.

Well we did have many a talented Englishman tripping over themselves to declare for us but now it’s the opposite. Irish national setup is now just a farm for overseas produce as well

Not any more. I don't know where people got such a strong desire to destroy everything that makes us Irish but it's nauseating.

We've survived multiple invasions, colonisation, millions dead from starvation/disease, rebellions, wars, mass migration and here we still are as an identifiable people.

    Cop on to yourself.

You're talking out of your flute.

Everything Irish is wrong now by default to these posturers and my generation will be the last with any sense of Irishness.

Maybe you're projecting your own personal unhappiness onto Ireland as a whole.

Or not. I can see it for myself, it's not difficult.

If you're going to play tactical games though, try not rehashing such old material.

Notions. We don’t like people with notions.
Yet an awful lot of Irish people have notions :)

Can you give an example of people trying to destroy something that makes us Irish?

    More old material.

Take a look there, it's not hard to find.

I’m confused. Who’s destroying Irish things? What Irish things are being destroyed?

You’re a misanthrope. In Japan you’d be known as a hikikomori. You’d be jawing about things if you lived there as well.

You're not being very specific about what you claim you can see for yourself.

(took me a while to find an appropriate image of a projector because, like most things, the modern equivalent isn't identical to the ones I remember from school)

Ancient irish proverb. Full of wisdom. You don’t have to be Irish to be Irish.

Even with all the makeup you would somehow know they were Irish.

By and large the first population that got here predominated. Vikings and The English and the Normans invaded but didn’t really change the demographics- except in Northern Ireland.

I think that would be great. The country can do without your type of Irishness.
