    Armagh by 10.

I have it level if you take away the 3 scores the ref has got in the last 20 and the umpires wide . Feel sorry for cork .

There's no question the ref applying the rules differently for both sides but Cork are architects of their own downfall. Their use of possession at critical times just isn't good enough.

Clifford is the best young player I havr ever seen at this level.

    Maturity beyond his years.

Cork have to go for goal now

Some chasing back there by Liam O'Donovan.

Clifford got a a very dubious free kick earlier having kicked the ball away, some extended advantage rule that I don't know about. The point in the 57th minute may have not been a point. And thats the difference between these two teams right now.

Cork players never believed they could win that game

Corks use or lack of use of the extra man has been awful.

No reason to be kicking it down the middle

Well Cork hit three dreadful wides in a row while their tails were still up. Kerrigan's in particular was woeful for a player of his experience.

Kerry the better team overall. They’ll need to tighten up at the back before the super 8s

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,201 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Cork made poor use of the spare man - they might have been as well off playing against 15

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,443 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Well kerry might have won but Cork gave a great showing. Those three bad wides Cork had in second half were crucial.

Cork produced a spirited performance, especially given their truly awful start.

    Poor enough football.
    Kerry will need huge improvement.

Who the woman on the panel?

Mrs Compulsory. Pity she has her head stuck in the notes.

Some shocking wides alright after much possession play alright. Those three in a row as you said were dreadful.

Ran out of petrol in the end. Out on their feet.

Good performance by Cork all the same. Wasn't expected and Kerry needed those soft frees in the end.

I’m not sure if Paul Geaney can regress any more

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,753 ✭✭✭corny

Cork weren't composed enough to threaten on the night but it can't be understated how much of an influence the ref had on that game. He reffed Cork one way and Kerry another.

Kerry are a good team but they have glaring weaknesses that better teams will exploit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,126 ✭✭✭PressRun

Kind of felt it wouldn't be as one sided as people thought. Felt poor shot selection let Cork down in the end.
Kerry poor at the back, not sure how they're going to sort it out before the business end of things.

Looks done at this level. I think he will be dropped for the Super 8’s

    Score in the Kerry match?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,801 ✭✭✭An Ciarraioch

Monaghan well beaten by Armagh in the finish, 2-17 to 1-12.

So, of the teams in the last 16, 7 are from Division One, 6 from Division Two, and the remaining 3 are from Division Three (Laois, Offaly/Sligo, Westmeath).

Tomás Ó Sé predicted big Armagh win, I didn't see it myself, but so it is.
