DuVernay is far from a balanced voice and better at generating heat than light to illuminate such a contested subject. I'd probably check out the Ken Burns Doc from 2012 first to get a more factual view.

For what it's worth, DuVernay's work is always very intensely researched. Her documentary on the American justice system is one of the most detailed documentaries I've ever seen.
There were loads of accusations leveled against her when Selma came out, about being historically inaccurate, some claiming it was blatant lies. A study of that year's best picture nominees proved it to be 100% historically accurate, as opposed the The Imitation Game, which was only something around 40% historically accurate. (The ratings were based on scene by scene analysis)

As someone who has seen the Central Park Five documentary back in 2012, which I thought was very well made, thorough and gripping, I feel like I'd have to be in a real specific mood to want to revisit the story again. It's a dramatisation as well and I couldn't finish the first episode for some reason, maybe because the facts have already been ingrained in my brain (and the anger that comes with it) that it seemed slow for some reason. Maybe, someday.

The performances are great, and from reading the reviews they are lauded, esp. Jharrel Jerome who really should be getting these great parts after Moonlight.. really good to see.

Currently watching The Alcasser Murders, never heard of this case and so far, its been really heartbreaking and interesting, really trying my hardest not to Google anything and just go with it.

Is The Alcasser Murders in Spanish or English?

It's in Spanish and subtitled obviously. Lots of archival footage but for someone who haven't a clue about the case, it's been a really fascinating watch. Although I have a feeling I'll be really disappointed in that it will almost definitely be an open-ended, inconclusive ending

    Dublin Old School: absolutely awful
:D it could have actually being very good if it concentrated on music scene, drugs etc, the brother and girlfriend story made a mess of this movie instead of making the movie. Had me googling back to UFO and Temple of sound days , **** me they were good and mental

Almost all of Tarantino films are classics.
His last film ‘The hateful 8’ got lukewarm reviews. I watched it and thought it was brilliant. The constant dialogue throughout, characters stories were all acted out superbly, and a fantastic twist 2/3 of the way in.
Am looking forward to ‘Once upon .....’, Tanantion, Di Caprio, Pitt in a film meant to be similar in style to ‘Pulp Fiction’.

Must burn them a little that a Marvel film is in the top 10, given that cashcow's on the way out. though keeping it to just film, considering this being the Film Forum n' all :D 'Snatch' is an odd entry, why on earth is that in the top 10??

Looks like the money they paid Sandler paid off.

Adam Sandler's 'Murder Mystery' breaks Netflix viewing records

While Netflix was famously reticent about releasing viewing statistics, over the last year or so the company has become more open about it. Its latest revelation confirms the theory that someone out there likes Adam Sandler movies, since his latest star-studded joint, Murder Mystery, has racked up the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix movie, with 30,869,863 unique accounts watching it in the first three days.

As Netflix has previously established, it counts a view as someone watching more than 70 percent of a particular title. 13,374,914 of the accounts were in the US and Canada alone, with the remaining 17 million spread elsewhere worldwide. In 2017 Netflix explained viewers had already streamed over half a billion hours of Adam Sandler, clearing up any doubt about the four-picture deal it signed him to.

Suddenly we know more about Netflix viewers' habits than ever before -- probably not coincidentally at the same time there's more streaming competition joining the party -- including that its heist flick Triple Frontier scored a 52 million account opening weekend, or that Bird Box racked up 45 million in one week last year. In the UK it even publishes Top Ten lists now.

I'm guessing Ms. Aniston had something to do with it. Is it any good?

Slightly Off topic, but Speaking of Snatch, was the tv series aired here

As for Derry Girls, their source could be one of the sites that do UK listings. Will see soon enough

Agree with all of above. Looking forward to the second season of the Let Down.

Its very worrying that the Adam Sandler movie is doing gangbusters in viewing figures, means we can expect allot more sh*te of this nature.

It doesn't affect me as I'm on the basic service but really it's only an extra €12 or €24 a year depending on the service. 1 cinema ticket is nearly €15 most places these days anyway.
