    Hi Everyone,

I have never kept bees and would love to learn the basics from the experts before hopefully keeping our own. Could anyone point me in the direction of a workshop or opportunity to volunteer on somebodies farm near Athlone in Westmeath?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

As far as i know most beekeeping groups run their beginners courses at the start of the new year. Offaly beekeepers club is quite active so it may be worth talking to them. I dont have a contact but think they are on facebook.
