    The proud Sudanese people first started protesting in December against the old prez Hassan al-Bashir, who thankfully resigned April, 2019.

    Since then, Sudan is controlled by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagolo. You might remember him from the janjaweed militias.

    Pro-democracy protests are happening in Khartoum, and "security" forces have killed at least 124 people and some 700 people injured - so far.
