If people want to be consistent, they might consider getting involved in another campaign about a feted sports star who was actually convicted of sexual assault along with his buddies of a 14yr old girl, in this jurisdiction, they might support:

Post up the details of Jackson's contract so we can determine it's lucrativeness.

Jackson is in total control of his public image and has only himself to blame for the contempt in which he is held.

His 'public image' is the reason his contract with the IRFU was terminated. Any contract of this nature will include termination grounds for bringing the game or organisation into disrepute.

Why do I need to do anything about it? Akinade was tried, convicted and sentenced. I don’t really agree with the leniency, but that’s the justice system.

Jackson (the topic of this thread) was tried AND ACQUITTED. Very different to the Akinade situation but some absolute morons can’t leave the man alone to get on with his life.

I’d say the comparison of reactions is fair.

A professional premiership contract is lucrative no matter what way you look at it. He is earning a great deal more than most ordinary people.

I don't know what his contract details are. But I do know a contract with a premiership club will earn you much more than most ordinary people = lucrative.

i'm not struggling to understand anything. You asked why he got a free pass while jackson didn't. It's very simple. There is a thread on Jackson and no thread on the other guy. The only place i talk about jackson is here. I'm not marching the streets or complaining to advertisers. so if there is no thread on the other, and i've never seen one, there isn't really much for me to do is there?
