Just like the Champions League so.

Champions League is an evolution of the European Cup which was a valid competition. It's already gone far enough.

UEFA Cup should have retained it's format.

I also liked the Cup Winners Cup (which we never won)

What does the Premier League to smaller clubs and the leagues below it?

How many teams go nearly bust trying to get into it.

It does exactly the same thing it.

It's only there for the Big 6 clubs to make money.

Which of the big 6 are actually making money from football. Utd, Liverpool and who else.

The World Club Cup is not big cup. What are viewing figure compared to Champion league or even the Europa League? In Europe people not care about the World Club Cup.

Reports in France that Fekir is available for €15m.

Shirley he is worth a punt at that price even with bad knees.

Manchester United win it in 08. They beat mighty LDU Quito to lift trophy.

    34 starts last season.

Would love to see us get him, especially at that kind of price.

    and don't call me Shirley.

I'd take him at €30m but it's a no brainier for €15m. Very little risk involved at that price, especially compared to the €50m from last year.

Yeah he said the top 6 along time has passed since city or chelsea could make a profit without the sugar daddy. Spurs just holding their own. Arsenal hard to know.

We could do what Alex did when he killed the allure of the FA Cup back in the day and pulled Man U out of it to take part in the Club World Cup.

That was when The FA Cup became a Mickey Mouse Cup.

When UTD took part it was in January this one will be in December

Harry Wilson starts for Wales on S4C, some fella called David James as well. Let's see which of these lads is the more promising.

Any word what's actually happening with Wilson this summer.

Sakho was a collossos - it's not his playing ability that saw him bombed out, it was his mentality.

Had nearly forgotten about Sakho and the way he exited the club. I'd say he wasn't feeling too good watching us the other night and thinking of what might have been.

I wonder if his off field attitude was better could he have made it alongside VVD? I'd think he would have been challenging fiercely with Matip for that spot. He was a decent CB with good positioning, rarely lost the ball and could spot a pass through the midfield. We didn't get to see his true ceiling and Virgil tends to improve everyone around him.

Looking back now it was a serious missed opportunity for Sakho, he might have been playing last Saturday had he managed to keep his mouth shut and not annoyed Klopp.

On the upside for us Id imagine the way Klopp froze out Sakho sent a message through the entire squad that he wont tolerate any kind of unprofessionalism. It put down a marker for everyone else.

Klopp kicking him out was good management. I think he would have gotten a chance if he show he could settle down and stop being big idiot man.

Great to see Enrique back playing.

I do feel bad for Sakho, by all accounts it was constant attitude problems that got him the boot, it was 100% the right call, but just before that he did get banned for both a Europa League final and all of Euro 2016 where France went to the final all because of a drug case that was later overturned.

    Nicholas Pepe

    Something could be stirring there.

Recent reports are saying he wants to go to Bayern.

This is great from Sunday. Not sure if posted earlier. Klopp nearly falling at 9.13 min mark was gas

Lol, Milner just jumped up and down for four hours!

A few of the respected French journos say it down to Liverpool and Munich however he isn't a priority for Munich.

I thought a winger would be as they're losing Ribery and Robben.

Maybe the price is too high for them.

Sane, The Chelsea lad are the ones they want then Pepe is what is being reported.

Well its a lot easier to get in the Munich team than Liverpool's right now, may just come down to that.

Bigger problem with Sakho is his injury record, makes our current crop look sturdy

I think Sane is unrealistic for them unless he pushes for a move from City. Would be interesting to see that happen!
Maybe told he'd be increasing his chances for the national team by joining Bayern.

Hudson-Odoi may be persuaded to stay at Chelsea as they have the transfer ban, sold Hazard and Sarri is leaving. He'll be guaranteed more game time.

Hudson Odoi signed a 5 year deal with Chelsea last week didn't he?
