I had the Thinkware f770 2 ch dash cam fitted to my car six months ago, over the last three weeks I've been receiving random "formatting memory card" errors. For example: If I am driving for two hours, my journey is being recorded but then for no reason the system starts to format the card and wipes all footage, this could happen three or four times.

I purchased a new memory card but the issue persists. Has anyone ever come across this and how did you resolve it? Could the dash cam be faulty?

Update:
After trying new memory cards and doing various software updates, the dash cam was found to be faulty and was duly replaced by the supplier.
