Castlepark car parking for Slane

    Hey guys, heading to Metallica at Slane and trying to figure out the best way to get there from Ashbourne.

    I've googled and found a place called Castlepark. It looks like a decent place, right beside the venue, but wondering if anyone has experience here?

    They say you can't leave the car park until all the roads are cleared of people, so kinda worried that could mean we're stuck in the car till the early hours.

    Any suggestions most welcome!

    Leaving Slane is an absolute mess. I would suggest driving to Kells. There's a long stay carpark behind the hotel. I think it's only 4 quid for the day and maybe look for bus from there. Getting out of Slane is a mess... Fantastic venue but bus it all the way if you can

    Suggesting passenger trains between Navan and Drogheda and putting a platform in at Beauparc for Slane will annoy the bus and greenway enthusiasts, so I won’t suggest it.

    Cheers. Can't seem to find a bus from there unfortunately though
