Unbelievable feeling waking up winners of that trophy again. 6 times. Amazing.

Wife is due any day now but she let me out again for pints! Not sure I'd be allowed call a girl Virgil but sure we'll give it a go!

I'd go with Alisson or Vanessa...

I'm 45, a bit too young for the wins in the 70s, vaguely remember '81, saw them play for the first time in '82 beating Dundalk 1-4 in the European Cup. Having our hands on this trophy again is just amazing. For me, one of the key differences between last night's finals and other recent ones that we lost was that last night we knew what we had to do to win. I wouldn't say we controlled the game, but we were fairly comfortable and were able to stop Spurs from threatening us too much. We just had the know-how to get the win, and the bodes very well for the future!

I'm just so proud of the team and the club, teams don't always get what they deserve in Sports, but I truly believe Liverpool deserved a trophy this season, and they got it!

In a perfect world these finals would be on a Bank Holiday weekend and the parade on the monday. Lot of people that travelled to the game from Liverpool miss out because theyll be in Madrid.

Didn't Madrid fly straight back after the final last year and do the parade in the middle of the night?

I have little sympathy for anyone who got to be in Madrid yesterday!

We were shít, and it was still comfortable. 2-0 flattered Spurs. Every decent chance up until our second goal was ours. Spurs were better in possession, but we still made the more cutting, dangerous bursts, and looked the more likely.

Matip MOTM. His last 5 months have been astounding.

Alisson did nothing bar arguably the final Son shot that troubled him. Everything was routine for a decent goalie. Did it all well though.

I'd also give it to VVD for pocketing Kane, but I'd have had a decent chance of pocketing Kane last night. Him starting had to be a political move as he wasn't right.

That a huge trophy for us. Make no mistake. I know it's a wonderful club to be associated with regardless, but the group needed the validation of just how good they are. Trophies do that better than anything.

    Klopp is the man.

6 times baby. 6 fúcking times.

Looks like Van Dijk just deafened Gomez. He’ll probably be out for 6 months.

I fcuking love this club & I'm still buzzing since last night. Yes people will say we didnt play well and spurs had so much possession etc, but I felt we were never under thread bar some half chances by Spurs in the last 20 mins. Allison made routine saves by a goalkeepers standards.
The fact of the matter is none of that matters. In the record books it will show a 2-0 win to Liverpool.

As Lloyd has said before winning trophys sets a mentality in a team and I'm sure this team/squead will win more trophies in the next few years.

Delighted for Klopp to shake that monkey off his back as a "serial loser " in finals

Enjoy the summer boys and I can't wait for next season to once again get back to anfield and cheer this wonderful club on again.

Why do you always post like this? I am enjoying the win. Soaking it in through my pores, inhaling it like an ethereal musk for the soul and looking forward to the new season. While you are taking ambiguous potshots at some people who posted something you do not agree with 6 months ago or something. Ha, I know who's the happier human being! YNWA 1 3!
