I was 5 months old when we won our first European cup. I went a bit mad on the cow and gate that night I can tell you!

Who's the oldest and youngest LFC fan on here,

    I'll start: 54

I was born a couple of months after Liverpools last domestic title in 1990.

2 European cups helps make up for never seeing a premier league trophy tbh.

The difference between the club building for the future now compared to 2005 is the owners.

FSG are world class owners despite some fans not believing that, they learned from their mistakes and have build a club to compete with the best in the world and to be self sufficient financially without the aid of oil money.

    This 100%.

    Also this :D

What a signing this guy has been so glad he wasn't loaned out or sold in January.

Outraged earlier when an ad break happened in the middle of the match. Then I remembered I'm watching a replay and we've already won it.

Anyone else worried they'll damage their teeth with this sort of carry on?

Lucky you , you can talk about all 6, I only seen 2 and I also have to stop celebrating Christmas as I wasn't alive when Jesus was born

Who was alive for the previous 5 European Cup victories?

They are the only ones that can celebrate all 6 according to that Everton poster who likes to comment on everything.

    Me, Me me...

Unbelievable feeling waking up winners of that trophy again. 6 times. Amazing.

Wife is due any day now but she let me out again for pints! Not sure I'd be allowed call a girl Virgil but sure we'll give it a go!

    You should call her Divock.

Might be on my own here but after last night a massive weight has been lifted to the point that I'm easy about the league - would be nice to win it but realistically speaking it's just an impossible feat for any club now.

We proved we were winners last night. That's all that matters to me. I'm confident the team will stay competitive for a very long time that's all I can ask.

Still hasn't sunk in, can't believe we won the cl again last night, absolutely dieing now but considering heading out again in a bit for more liquid celebrations

I was gonna suggest Alisson but Divock is the clear choice

Jordyn / Jordan wouldn’t be the worst either

One other thing about last night - though I'd have accepted a win under any circumstances - wasn't it lovely to win it in normal time? No penalties needed. Just makes the whole thing, I dunno, purer for me.

    Christ, what night!
A few things stood out for me...

Not a great match, but who cares!
Trent saying afterwards I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream just came through - choked when I heard that..
Klopp replying to a question that he's normally half pissed 20mins after winning :)
Des Kelly being such a gent on BT when interviewing the players, not keeping them from the celebrations and never trying to sell them a carpet.

And then there was Hendo - I had always questioned him as a captain - can remember when Millie joined and was made vice-captain and seeing the body language between then on the Asia trip and how Hendo seemed to be intimidated by Millie's alpha male'ness and questioning if he had the personality to rule the dressing room. Then VVD joined and there was another born leader, always liked it when either him or Millie had the armband. That's changed over the season and then last night just put it to bed - he's changed a lot of people's minds.

We're blessed that we have a team with proper leaders and work not just so well with each other but for each other - Klopp talked about how he didn't need to give a rousing speech before the game because the players do that themselves in the dressing room. He's built a team of characters and not just a collection of good players. They will always be better than the sum of their parts because of him and last night, and what's to come, is down to him.

Lastly, I can't wait to see the first home game - I want to have George Sephton blaring 'I'm a believer' over the sound system as the lads walk out of the dressing room and then slap the 'This is Anfield' sign as Klopp stands on the other side of the sign, applauding them and then telling them to forget it, time to win the next trophy.

Can't wait to see what's to come....

Kelleher & Brewster no senior games played one Champions League Winners Medal what a way to start their young careers.
