A controversial penalty, a goal and a streaker inside 20 minutes. Great stuff.

Spurs getting a good foothold in the game and looking dangerous .

    Harry looks rusty.

Of course he is. Madness starting him. Will not last 90 mins either.

    Indeed.

Liverpool aren't really doing anything apart from long balls & look outnumbered in midfield.

    Spurs doing alright in fairness

Trippier is a good shout for one of the worst players to play in a CL final.
He isnt even the worst player on the field tonight.
    Karius, traore,loveren,pennant, zenden,Garcia, cisse.

He has to deliberately stick out his arm to handle the ball for it to be a penalty. He doesn't. He is pointing to a teammate to cover. Ball hitting outstretched arm doesn't mean penalty, simple as. He has to INTENTIONALLY gain an advantage.

    Definitely wrong decision.

First I'm a United fan, stop being ridiculous. It's a penalty. By your logic get everyone randomly pointing with out stretched arms and narrow the target in the box.

    Dirty one from Robertson.

Not too much in that, a free would suffice.

Lots of hard work from Spurs but going nowhere, can see them getting stretched on the break as the game goes on.

There's no 'expect it' in the rules. He clearly doesn't intentionally handball it. You can have your hand high all you want.
That's not the rule anymore. In the CL at least. If the arm is extended, as Sissoko's was, and the ball hits it, chances are a penalty will be given.

Agreed. Touching Trippier, I'd be scrubbing my fingertips after.

Never a penalty. I'm a Liverpool fan. I would be gutted if it was the other way around.

Spurs look pretty comfortable. Harry shouldn't be on that pitch as he is too slow. Keep getting over the top balls just not coming off, thankfully.

Liverpool not pressing as normal for me.

Trippier going down quicker than a $10.00 hooker in Bangkok, embarrassed for him

Whoa that flag was really late

Your logic makes me think you never played.

It's blatantly obvious why he had his arm out. If you don't understand that. You don't know. Had it hit his arm outright it's more debatable.

The fact it was chest first then arm makes it so much worse.

This thread has taken a turn for the worst. Grown men are getting very passive aggressive. It is grim. The game is a very poor quality too.

Spurs have settled well. I would be changing Kane with with Moura at half time. I feel Kane is just too slow and VVD is easily marking him out if the game.

    Neither team playing well

I think most people who have actually played the game or have a rational mind can see it was not a penalty.

Not a good game so far

Liverpool have created nothing & are just hoofing it.
Spurs are more comfortable on the ball.

Rules changed as of today around various things.

One I believe is handball. If it comes off head/body/foot and hits our own arm it's not to be considered a foul.

It definitely hit his chest. And brushed his arm.

It was as soft a peno as has ever been given.

If that is indeed true then the Referee should be shot.

Spurs are out of their depth at this stage

It's never good when two same league sides play each other.

    So many errors.
