Trying to find the name of a series that was on RTE in the early to mid 70's , it was set in the 1800's or maybe a bit later about a young girl married to an old guy who was a hat maker i think, so in comes a young guy to the shop and she falls in love with him and they kill the old chap but he comes back to haunt them. It was very explicit for it's time or maybe it's because i was a young teen then, it has always stuck in my mind all these years maybe someone would know the name of it.?

jesus how did you know that,? your spot on . it seems i got the story line a bit wrong eg hatmaker, and i did'nt think it was as late as 1979, thanks for that.:D:D
