    If RTE used all its ad time for things other than RTE, surely they'd make way more revenue?

    I never understand why they have so many ads for their own schedule. It's really not that hard to find out what's on at any given time.

    I voted alright.

    One of the candidates had "gardener" in his 3 word description of himself.

    He won't be pulling up many trees in Dublin Co. Council, one suspects.

    (Although I threw him a number for it)

    yep, there's a similar irony with the tv licence.

    If they're so sure they'll prosecute the offenders, then why bother advertising it at all? Save your money. I thought you had them all coming up on the computer, a court appearance and a fine right? (could you handle the "embarrassment"? ;)) So there's no need to advertise it right? :rolleyes:

    Some while back a TV license inspector came to my door and asked me do I have a TV and I said, yes a 50” one in there. Then he asked why I didn’t have a license and I said “your records must be wrong asI have it in my bedroom..”.He said “The records day that you *name* of “no **** Road have no license” As he was st wrong address I now knew a neighbour had no license, talk about GDPR.
