Route into Dublin from Donegal for mini marathon next weekend

Hi, I’m travelling down for the mini marathon next weeknd. Thinking if it will avoid traffic, is it best to cut off and go by Donnycarney. Will I avoid any traffic? I’m planning on parking at qpark Clerys and getting the luas over to st Stephens green. Any help appreciated.

Stick to whatever google maps is telling you, will have the most up to date traffic. I'd imagine it will be a sh1tstorm either way from traffic.
