I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm looking for unusual/creative/fun spaces to host a corporate away day for 8 people in Dublin. I know for example that the Commissioner of Irish Lights in Dun Laoghaire have a beautiful room overlooking the port but its approx €400 which is a little too expensive. Any ideas very much appreciated :)

Liffey boardwalk. Would be free and you can view all the addicts and smell the piss up real close for team building exercises.

    Tentative.

Let me get back after COP.

I made my division € 86,000 last week and you don't have € 400? why can't we just have it in the boardroom and have a nice meal later?

Just let your secretary organise it.

If 400 euro is too much for 8 people then I would be at a loss to make any better suggestions!

    Its 50 quid a head!

What is the nature of the corporate away day? Do you need presentation facilities?

8 of you rattling around in CILs boardroom would be pretty boring after the first 15 minutes, its just a boardroom with a view.

Doubt they'd stretch for a secretary.

Try Airfield House, if your group is into nature and history.

€400 too much  That would barely cover lunch and beverages. Best find a quiet pub that does decent lunch and meet there

Well with your budget I suggest a shopping center.
Ye can have ye're meeting in the foodcourt.
    Ye can have a Mcdonalds/KFC/etc.
Followed by a walk around the shops.
Followed by a trip to the cinema.

OP 8s it a (fancy) teambuilding day you are lòking for or somewhere to hire as an away training kind of day to have meetings & presentations? And whats the split m:f of the 8 : all guys, mostly girls or gay and girls or what? Location could vary depending on sex preferences - if you know what I mean!

You’re not going to get much for under €400 a day. The Aviva or Croke Park do meeting rooms, or you could check out the following (haven’t used them and have no affiliation!). https://www.zipcube.com/ie/s/meeting-rooms/Dublin--Ireland?allDay=false&lat=53.3498053&lon=-6.260309699999993&placeId=ChIJL6wn6oAOZ0gRoHExl6nHAAo&guests=8

It's a meeting being planned, not an orgy.

Get the participants to bring their own packed lunches, should save the company a few squids.

Hire a large tent and hike in Wicklow mountains for a day, food is sorted as per above recommendation ;)
