Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of advice for anyone thinking of attending.

    EAT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE.

    Food is mega expensive.

Tiny pizza = 4 tokens or €12, hot dog = 3 tokens or €9. Quality ok but given there's an entry fee it feels like a rip off.

    Was at this earlier today,

    Weather was ****e.

Food was tasty but so expensive.
Paid €24 for two hotdogs and a Portuin of chips!

    Beer was good.

Highlights were Lough Gill’s Rollercoaster Sour and their imperial stout as well as Larkin’s IPA.

Great location for a beer festival but weather just didn’t play ball today.

Nice and busy Friday evening anyway. Was there from 17:30 to 20:30 and by the time we left it was busy but not wedged, it never took more than a couple of minutes to be served.

Did it have the same amount of breweries compared to other years?

Didn't attend previous years but I'd say there was 17/18 breweries there this year plus a couple of Gin stands.

I paid €55 for entry for two including 10 tokens and bought another 10 tokens for €30 within half an hour as two half pint drinks (two tokens) plus a very small pizza (four tokens) and a hot dog (three tokens) used up 9 or the 10 tokens included in the €55 entry fee.

In total we had 6.5 pints, a hot dog and a small pizza between us for €85.

Not very good value TBH given it was open to the elements with smelly portaloo's, wooden benches to sit on etc. As a venue it's not very appealing, it's basically a disused car park in what used to be a ferry terminal.

The selection and quality of beer was great and the food was ok, just way over priced.
