I’d be starting Stander, VDF and Conan with POM on the bench.

It will be Christmas before Munster kick a ball in behind.

Love how Fardy makes his clearouts stick.

Had the more possession and territory and yet we go in 3 points down at ht. just aren’t good enough when we have the ball. Story of our season

I think ye might win this yet, Leinster not quite at the races but Munster have absolutely no faith at all in the back line and are too predictable as a result. Incredible waste of talent.

Munster doing well but need a huge second half too win it. Glasgow will be happy watching this

Hopefully Toner not too bad and he will make too Japan. Sadly he wont be the only one injured as those bloody warm up games are killers esp with who we are playing

Could well be the same 4 with VDF on the bench. Can see something leftfield from Schmidt.

We really missed VDF last week. SOB isn't a patch on him atm.

He has been awesome. Such a classy player. Always does the right thing. Playing like he was never injured.

They literally won't at all. Both packs very formidable and not giving much of anything to the opposition. Glasgow have nothing in their forwards unit to trouble either of today's packs and will be reliant on inventiveness and accuracy in possession because they aren't going to be allowed play any kind of direct controlling rugby against either team.

Chris Farrell is fantastic with ball in hand, if he can keep fit he should definitely be in the conversation for a spot on the plane to Japan.

A spot on the plane ? Haha was that meant to be a joke? if he keeps this up he’ll be pushing for the 23

Healy, Ryan and Conan are Leinster's best forwards today.

Larmour and Ringrose are trying hard to make things happen. Munsters scramble defence when Leinster broke the line has been excellent.

Kilcoyne not driving straight. But sure does he ever
Munster should have got far more penalties in the scrum for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 379 ✭✭Lucas44

Yup, very good couple of months from him and just in time.

Stander has a lot of credit in the bank though, but he'll be under pressure to have a good warm up run but I suspect he'll start against the Scot's.

Always the form no8 in Ireland in terms of club rugby and has been for a while but has never done it in green, Ireland’s style of play is a lot different to leinsters and Conan isn’t as efficient as stander in tight.

I don't disagree but Leinster being remarkably passive in midfield defence has been a nice bonus for him.

    What issue are you seeing?

He won't take the 23 shirt as he doesn't cover any other positions, and it's a 38 man squad for the RWC. So yes, a spot on the plane as there'll likely only be 4 centres.

    38? 31 surely

And that’s this game over anyway. Awful from Stander in defense

When has he got a proper chance to do it in green?

That set move with Cronin is money.

    31 sorry yeah.

Looks like Scannell flailed out an arm there. Made it na easy yellow for the ref to give.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Surely the three should be relevance to a player deliberately throwing it at a player?
There was no Leinster player anywhere near Scannel who could have caught a pass.

Just awful. So stupid. We are clearly not learning our lessons from previous play off games

Farrell either gets in starting XV or not in the 23 at all. Same for Ringrose. Farrell will go but won't get much game time in the bigger games unless there is injuries at centre

What 4 other centres are playing better than him? Only 1 arguably that is playing as well as him recently (ringrose) if you don’t account for him last week

Neither team can open a lead on the other.

Best throwing poorly yesterday, and now Cronin not having the best time at the set piece isn't a great sign.

Don't think either will be starting at the world cup

So Ringrose gets into the XV and Farrell doesn't get number 23 jersey because of lack of versatility.
