Bathtub Mixer Tab Shower Stop Thingy?

Hey folks, We have an electric shower, so the shower hose on the bathtub mixer tab is useless and just collecting dirt, so I want to get rid of the shower hose and close it up with a chrome stopper thingy. I went to B&Q with this plan and tried to explain what I want to do and they had no idea what the hell I was talking…

Hey folks,
We have an electric shower, so the shower hose on the bathtub mixer tab is useless and just collecting dirt, so I want to get rid of the shower hose and close it up with a chrome stopper thingy.

I went to B&Q with this plan and tried to explain what I want to do and they had no idea what the hell I was talking about.

Does anyone know if the part I'm looking for exists and what's it called? Take shower hose off from mixer tab, screw chrome fitting on that blocks the existing outlet. Looks nice and clean.

Please see picture for part I'm talking about.

You need a 1/2 inch chrome blank cap, plumbing suppliers or even B&Q
