Trying to remove Lidl stair mat sticking pads that were used to cover the stairs. Does anyone know an easy way to remove these sticky pads? I'm using a paint scraper and a grinder without much luck. Any better ideas?

Don't know the pads you're talking about but WD40 works a treat for most sticky stuff. let it soak for a while

A little gentle heat (from a hair dryer) can also help to soften adhesives like this.

I found white spirits to work better than WD40

    Stinks out the place though

I’d google side effects of wd40 before using it

A lot of people use it for something they shouldn’t & there are longer lasting unwanted effects.
