Hi all, I upgraded to an android radio in my 2007 Passat and I have bad reception. I bought an adapter from halfords with a booster built in but have little effect. Standard radio crystal clear, android radio barley picks up stations. Also tried android radio in an older car in a 2001 yaris that has antenna on top of car and reception crystal clear

    Same problem here, (mk5 golf).
One thing that improves it is to go into the android settings and change the radio region .
I think I use eastern europe but i cant remember,
it's something to do with the tuning working in different increments in different countries.
is it an xtrons by any chance?
