Can I ask if it is possible to change from Irish prime to UK prime? If so, how?

I want to watch fleabag which only seems to be available on UK prime

    Thanks

Great thanks. Just did that and took less than a minute.

Am I right in thinking a fire stick would be worth it?

When is Man in the High Castle back on? Now that The Grand Tour is over I've nothing I watch on it until then, but if it's only a couple of months I won't bother cancelling and signing back up.

Just wondering what you use prime for? I don’t feel I’m getting the most out of it. Signed up on a deal last year.

Only really use it for watching movies. And free deliveries. 2 day delivery is bull sheet. 3 if I’m lucky.

Yeah find it a great little device. They're on sale at the moment.

Ok I have the firrstick set up and my settings changed to UK. All good

But I now need to purchase a video title and it's saying my card is not valid as needs to be issued from UK? Any way around this?

I don't have one but I believe a revolt card using parcel motel address will get around this problem.

Is it easy to change the Revolut address to be a UK one?

You don't have to change anything, just use your Revolut card as you usually would.

So i've used Revolut virtual card on amazon uk Prime along with my Parcel Motel UK address

But Amazon are picking up my card is still from Ireland, hence why I think ill need to change the address on Revolut to be UK

I dont think I have my Revolut address set to uk. You just need your default amazon address to be UK (I use parcel motel) and then set your 1-click payment to be Revolut.

Is it normal that I can watch everything on prime video with just a normal Amazon prime account? I can watch all the walking dead, supernatural and loads of movies, like I've massive choice.
I used to just be able to watch stuff that said available to prime and I could watch the grand tour and not a lot else.
Just wondering am I getting it all for free or has the service really improved. I can only watch it on my ps4, on my firestick I can't watch prime at all and I'm afraid to contact them about it in case I shouldn't be able to watch everything.

Walking dead and supernatural have been on there for ages. There's a pretty big catalog these days, I doubt you're getting everything for free. Click on aquaman or something else recent and see does it try charge you.

Nah can't watch aquaman, it didn't even show up in a search. Theres a surprising amount of content for just having the normal Amazon prime account. Thanks.

Yeah Aquaman should only be there to rent or buy.

Go into the settings on prime video on your computer/phone and there are 2 payment options.

One is the prime account payment option

One is the extra content available payment option.

Change the 2nd option to your revolut card. Same happened me last week.

    Default revolut address works

Are there differences between the UK and Ireland libraries, if so, what?

Yes and good luck getting someone to list all of that for you :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,520 ✭✭✭✭Hurrache

Not list all of it of course, just a random example. I'm on a free month and everything I'd want to see I'd have access to based on my Irish address, although the billing is with Revolut, so wondering if it's worth continuing with Prime, or switching to the UK.

Use a different browser & don't sign in to amazon. Copy & paste the link below & it should show you all the UK content

Casual is really well worth a watch if anyone hasn't seen it.
    Just finished the last season.

If you go to the justwatch website (aggregator for most streaming services), I think by default it'll guess you are from Ireland and show the Irish library (site ends in .ie for me mostly). But you can force it to show the library from loads of different countries by changing your country location in the settings. There are also loads of filtering options, so you can just look at movies or tv shows or whatever. I use it daily on my phone through the app to see what new stuff has been added for Ireland.

I finally got UK billing working on Prime Video and now can rent UK films etc

    So basically get Revolut card
change address to parcel motel on Amazon and Revolut
    Change currency to pound Revolut

    all good
