Im waiting in Donegal too, OOM is in top 10 but I havent heard anything yet either.

Is there a different list for people who applied for TCO and are available all year and people who applied for summer only? Me and someone I know applied I got ranked ~300 and he was ~700(Dublin) and he got a call recently and I haven’t been called yet. He says he applied for summer only but I think he’s just an idiot and forgot he applied for all year since he was working retail and not in college and wanted out of his job asap so there was no reason for him to apply for summer only

Hes probably an idiot... I dont think there is a separate list a such I think your 300 and hes 700 on the same list of candidates but yes they seem to be leap frogging the summer only people as they cant be assigned until june..

In my county, they have told me they called up to oom 50 to interview but someone I know is in the top10 (is summer only) hasnt been called yet.

Hi All,

Am enquiring re. Panel for June - September in Galway.
It is my first year applying and am number 7 on the order of merit/panel.
Has anyone hears anything yet from Public Jobs and for those who previously worked as a TCO, where are the possible locations to be placed in Galway with being number 7?

anyone know where they're up to in tipp? I'm around 80 but summer only. Need to figure out if I should focus on looking elsewhere for a job lol

Are we allowed to ring and ask how far they are along in the filling of a panel?
Same as that, am turning away other jobs, in the hope of something from Public Jobs. Hopefully not foolishly!

FYI for anyone in Dublin, I received my invite to Stage 2 Interview on the 03/05 to attend on the 29th in Chapter House and my OOM is 101 and I am on the Summer Availability list.

It is a pity it is so late I was really hoping to be in a position at the beginning of June as I am already finished college for the summer and need to maximise my earning potential. So we shall see if I am still available then.

As a matter of interest, when I went for TCO for the 2017 campaign I was called for interview for the 15th May and started the 19th June

Hi, I am in the 20s on the Dublin panel for the summer TCO positions and have been invited on the 30th of May for interview. I have been a TCO the past two years and have always started my positions the end of May and start of June. The interviews seem to be really late this year. I was interviewed in March and April previously.

Just curious about this year's tco contracts. I'm placed on the all year round panel following interview last month but no word of anything so far. So if you don't get a placement by the end of May do they then hire off the summer only panel from the 1st of June until 31st Aug?
Hard to gauge it this year since they have the 2 panels?

You may not have to wait, i had less than a week between interview and start date one year. Just make sure when asked about availability at interview say you can start immediately.

I was in the 300s in 2017 and started in early June. Last year I was in the 170's and started in late May.

I am wondering at the interview are you already assigned to a department. I am in early 20s on Dublin panel and my interview is not until the 30/05/2019.
