    Sums it up pretty well.

Barca had a couple chances towards the end but only because Liverpool had to push everyone forward looking for the away goal.

Well they're fcked at home so they need 4!

So much hate for Liverpool must mean they are coming back into meaning something again in England :pac:

I dont think anyone hates the club ,just the unbearable fans.

Most disliked fans in England ?

Klopp just speaking there and I'd agree with him. Liverpool the better side after going 1-0 down, couldn't get the goal they needed, concede a real fluke for the second and then there's no stopping the third.

You see I don't get this. They ran with pure intention and intelligence at the Liverpool defence, some neat passing and then executed a lovely shot that hit the crossbar which rebounded into the path of their forward who had put himself in a position in the box (as forwards are expected to) who duly scored.

How is this being classified as this flukey, undeserved, lucky goal?

Am I missing something here? If anything Liverpool would have been lucky if they had got away without conceding from that piece of play.

Lucky that the Fabinho interception came off a player before going right into the path of Suarez

Not to mention VVD not been able to move, probably the wind.

Defenders not moving is not flukey.

Would you say Liverpool fans are more disliked or unbearable than Man U fans in England?

    Watch it again maybe.

Fabinho slid in and tackled Messi, the ball bounced through to Suarez who fluffed his shot so much that the ball bounced up off his knee onto the crossbar and then crashed back down straight to the feet of Messi.

As a supporter of neither I can confirm both are the most disliked on boards

Come off Suarez's knee onto the post and landed straight on Messi's chest.

So good luck, bad luck and then more good luck.

Yeah but before that it was a tackle by Fabinho that put Sergi Roberto through, and then it was a tackle by Robertson which fell to Suarez. Some element of luck there alright.

Fabinho's tackle that was inadvertently a forward pass was a fluke and then everything afterwards was a fluke. Your point is valid as well.

So watched that match in Buenos Aires and they have literally just shown all of his 600 goals on the ESPN channel.

    Football Porn.

A fascinating game of football to be honest. A goal at 1-0, Milner's chance maybe, would have made it an even better tie but I think it's all over now.

But incredible to have Liverpool at this stage of the competition again playing against the very best. And Messi is the very very best there is. I hope the 2nd leg is as watchable as tonights game because I thought it was a fine game of ball from start to finish despite the result

Going to go out on a limb here, but I don't think Liverpool will lose either tie.

I can see a draw tonight, and a victory at home.

And if Klopp goes for it, I think they could get a win tonight as well.

    I haven't a clue

Not a Liverpool fan and not sure if it was mentioned and whilst the Messi free kick was unreal it was taken a good few yards forward from where the foul was.

United fans have been so disliked for twenty years that it spawned a three letter acronym that's probably in the Oxford dictionary 😂.

(For the youngsters who weren't around when United were successful, it's "ABU".)

Ok, I didn't take note of the Suarez mis hit, (and will have a look back) - I just thought he lifted it too high. Nevertheless, again, he made contact with the ball a few yards from goal as he tried to take on a shot, it wasn't as if the ball hit him on the back of the head while he was star gazing.
I don't buy the interception nonsense. There is 11 men on the pitch, any interception runs the risk of falling to an opposition player, especially in that area of the pitch when a team is breaking so quick. It is players like Suarez who are there in that position to anticipate an interception like that, like it is a defenders job to anticipate a breaking ball.

It was far from the perfect goal but Liverpool fans are claiming it was some completely bizarre goal that defied logic, almost to the point Barca didn't deserve it

A team attacks, another team doesn't defend, sh^t will inevitably happen.

Not many games play out with going to the Camp Nou, dominating possession 57-43, getting more shots on target and corners and coming away with a 3-0 loss.

    It wasn't Liverpool's night. It was Messi's.
