Brown shoes with white mark

Hi all,

Recently bought 4 pairs of shoes online from Dune for my wedding. 3 or the 4 have a white mark on the inside heal (where both shoes touch). I don't want to bring them back so any suggestions how to fix. It's like the colour has come off.

Can you post a picture of the mark, or at least let us know what material the shoes are made from so we can give useful advice?

Hi, brown leather. Pic attached

I'd advise you to bring them back. If they're real leather the colour shouldn't really be 'coming off'- what it likely is is a scuff mark, but if they're brand new that seems a bit strange to me.

Have you tried conditioning/ polishing them? That might help if you really don't want to return them.

They put a rejuvenation cream on them in the shop but it hasn't done anything. It's really odd that 3 of the pairs has the same mark. Bloody love the shoes.
