Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Snap judgement, Arnie in. Looked great today and nice end to the season (SOU, wat)

    Jimi or Wilson out

Didn't arnie get subbed with a knock?

Jimi and Wilson both scored today too

Looked a bit injured going off the pitch though and had ice on his thigh sitting on the bench. I'd probably prefer Antonio. Seems to be playing more centrally than Arnie as well.

    I may go ultra defensive.

Get Eriksen and Firmino out to get Sterling or Salah in for -4.

I even have the go -12 to get both Salah and Sterling in.

Just to make sure of my couple of cash leagues.

Might go Ryan to De Gea, hard to get two better fixtures to end the season

You saying we should get Huddersfield and Cardiff defenders and strikers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,483 ✭✭✭macraignil

    Current week's team is:

    Ederson
    Trippier, Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Wan-Bissaka
    Son, Lucas Moura, Mane(c), Sterling
    Wilson, Lacozette

    Dubravka, Rondon, Luiz, Moutinho

Doing OK in last couple of weeks but Moutinho seems like the best player to offload on the free transfer. With 1.6mill in the bank it looks like Moutinho to Redmond or Ward-Prowse is the best way to go but going to wait for Chelsea v Man utd. tomorrow to see if any of their players might be worth considering for there last 2 against Cardiff and Huddersfield. Any advice on who might be worth bringing in appreciated.

Need to downgrade Eriksen or Wilson to fund Sterling move.

    1. Eriksen to Jota
    2. Eriksen to Mili
    3. Wilson to Long

Leaning towards 1. at the moment but Mili has a better final day fixture.

King the useless git out for Rashford. That's the current plan.

Seen a few people on this forum post the phrase form over fixtures and Jota and Wilson just scored so 1. sounds the best out of those options to me anyhow.

Lacazette out for Rashford most likely

I might move Kolasinac out for someone for - 4, mostly just to be spiteful and try block some of rivals' potential differential clean sheet points.

    Mane -> Sterling for me

    Yes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

    Have 2FT’s.

Thinking of getting more City bodies in. I know Utd have Huddersfield next but genuinely don’t know who to go for

Maybe take Son out for Pogba or Duffy & Gray out to Laporte & Long(8th attacker so be Bench)

Despite Vardys recent run of form, I plan to ship him out for the last two games. Who is best the replacement for him?

Currently have Jiminez and Wilson for the other two spots (0 in the bank).

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

I had to pull the trigger on Son to Sterling last night as I’d the exact cash, could backfire badly if he gets injured but I need him the last 2 games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,128 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

Early thoughts, Son & Vardy to Brooks (enabler) & Aguero

You should have waited. Sterling didn’t rise.

    Bank.

I'm not sure I can do anything meaningful with 1 transfer, and I don't feel like my team is bad enough that I need to take a hit.

Will have to keep an eye on the price changes though.

Scratch that. Just spotted Duffy is at -97.5%.

Duffy to fodder, most likely now. :)

Actually, scratch that one. One price drop for him won't make a difference for me! :pac:

Im shifting vardy to but going for Rashford, average form but it's Huddersfield!!!
If you didn't have aguero could be an option, but not lot else out there I fancy to be fair

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

I know now but had to hit the hay early last night and he was at 98% so I couldn’t take the chance. I could regret it I know

Debating rashers or Lukaku for the next two week's as you won't get better fixtures

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,131 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

Duffy to Lindelof looks quite likely. 0.1 short of Shaw unfortunately.

Have the same 3 strikers, and I'm also thinking of selling vardy, was considering rashford but not so sure now

After Vardys performance today I might now just bench him against City and then play him for the last game at home to Chelsea

Be interesting if rashers has a knock...Might end up selling him

Have Aguero, Jimenez and Vardy and 2 free transfers, was looking at Rashford too for Vardy but I am not sure about United at all. And they are playing Huddersfield :)

Might do Duffy to Lindelof, Son to Sterling and downgrade Laca

Is Duffy likely to drop tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭sheroman01

Might bring Jota in, if there's any doubt around Rashford. Fulham have the worst away record and Wolves gunning for 7th.

-100.3, so yes, technically he should drop. No completely certain though. There were players higher (or lower depending on how you look at it) than that that managed to avoid a drop.

Going to go for Jota as well since you mention it. Looked very good in the highlights on Match of the day and can upgrade to him from Moutinho since I have something in the bank. Don't like his last fixture but will have another free transfer to help deal with that next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,826 ✭✭✭✭dahat

12pts behind in a league so need a creative player this week to get a decnt score, smepone off the radar.

Firmino to Aguero is a given.

Son to a Chelsea mid, maybe RLC if Willian is injured, can't be sure on Sarri but he does well when given a chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,038 ✭✭✭Pete_Cavan

Out of pure desperation, I'm tempted to take a punt on Lukaku as a differential. Not sure whether to get rid of Auba or Firmino (two enormous disappointments recently). I might also do Kola to Lindelof or Shaw, depending on funds remaining after striker transfer, for a hit.

Thinking the same with Lukaku but means offloading vardy or kun but need to try something different

Lukaku is a superb pick if you're chasing, given the possible Rashford injury.

    Pogba back in

United are out of the running, edging towards the door, hes bound to go wild

    Or not be bothered.
He has been rubbish for the last couple of weeks, I wouldn't go near him again this year.

Jota is listed as a midfielder, so you'd need two changes there.

Right lads.. First time poster here..

I'm in a 20 quid a man league and I've been 2nd for most of it and now with a few games left I'm only 12 points behind the leader with all my boosts remaining.. I just got into this for the craic and the banter but id love to win it.

My team is Ederson, Van Aanholt, Robertson, Alexander, Milivojevic, Salah, Delefeou, Jota, King and Aguero

Subs are Ryan, Trippier, Pereyra and Periera

Any tips or advice you can give me to get the max out of the last few GWs.. Thanks
