Tax / NCT / insurance holder for windscreen

Hi,

Looking for a new windscreen holder. My insurance company used to send me out one every year, but have since stopped doing so.

I could ring them and ask for one, which I'm sure they would oblige and send me one with their logo.

Is it possible to buy a plain one? An amazon search didn't throw up anything..

It appears to be a 1% increase in evasion primarily because people forget, and the reminders are send out by letter.

It has worked for the vast majority. No mention of how much money it has saved.

And then apply that to the way the Irish do things. Probably as simple as building a children's hospital within budget.

Is the online motor tax system not better here than the old way of queuing for hours in the motor tax office and losing a day of work?

Electronic Tags work well for tolls.

Twas soul destroying!Queing for hours to pay motortax.And then they would turn you away when you get to the window for any minor technicality.

What’s actually transformed the tax office is not being able to lie about your car being off the road anymore. This means you need to do a change of ownership now, which is handled by another office.
