Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Salthill Call to prayer

Was passing Salthill Church recently and was amazed at how loud the bells (recorded I imagine) were. Extremely loud. And they seemed to go on and on. The good thing about this is that Salthillers have no excuse for being late and probably are very punctual. Would some kind of permission be needed for this loudness. Was the sound of the call to prayer an issue for the mosque in the east of the city.

No, the Catholic Church can ring their bells as loudly and often as they want.

Now that Notre Dam Cathedral has been conflagrated, Quasimodo has moved to Galway with Esmeralda.
