How much should it cost to remove an old stove and fireplace and then fit a flexiflue to the chimney? And refit the stove and fireplace. Being quoted €1,000 which includes VAT. Is that too much?
    Thank you

    Every house is different.
A two story house will need twice as much flexiflu as a single story so materials can be from 300 to 600....ie 5meters or 10 meters
For safety, scaffolding or renting a cherry picker for a day may also be required.
Labour cost will depend on all the above,,but 1000 is not expensive if all the above is needed for a single story
