They can claim the purchase cost back off the manufacturer and they can't just dump them, highly regulated regarding their end of life safe disposal

You know what I mean, the product will be wasted if not sold it’s not all about Tesco losing money it’s about waste
Anyway it’s a bargain and that’s what we are here for

Yep - I could probably build a full-scale mediaeval fortress complete with keep, barbican, and six-foot thick battlemented walls with occasional guard towers out of my current stash of teabags and bogroll :p

    picked up the gold teabags.

this box is €6 in the pound shops, but they dont usually have the gold, which i find a little nicer.

works out at less than 2c per teabag.

Was in Tesco Wexford this morning and they are stocking all the garden and BBQ stuff on the aisle where all the Easter eggs were. Any way came across this deal and thought it was good. Picked up two boxes of each one. There was loads left when I was leaving .

Thanks, need new grass seed, threw down a box of it a few weeks ago but it must've been all dead, nothing came up.

Thanks re grass seed. Some decent 75% off offers in the gardening section.

Bit of a bum deal on the Easter eggs though. Some are half price like the €6 ones down to €3 and single creme eggs 39c. Hopefully in a few days they'll drop a bit more.

Beef paste? Is it like a cheap version of Bovril?

We need a taste test volunteer, like the intrepid tasters who make a point to always try the cheapest bottle of wine in a supermarket.

^ I have tried something similar, but an ASDA version. I don't often paraphrase Ralph Wiggum but it tasted like how my cats breath smells. :pac:
