Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My son bought a 'Cooler Master' gaming PC recently. He tried to change the resolution, and for whatever reason it locked him out. All he gets now is a message on screen (HD TV) saying 'no support'.
He tried shutting it down and eventually got a screen looking for a 'username'.
He was given a password when he bought it, but not the username as it came up automatically (he cannot remember it)
We tried contacting the person he bought it from, but it was not their PC originally, so they only know the password.
Has anyone any suggestions before I have him committed, as he's close to a nervous breakdown.
I know nothing about computers other than they cost me a lot of money !!

is it a Windows login screen?
can you post a picture and we can go from there?

Coolermaster don't make computers; that's just the case (box) containing all the parts.

Worst comes to worst, he'll just have to reinstall Windows & all software (passwords, usernames, games etc. will have to be installed again).

Thanks for the replies. We managed to contact the original owner, and get the correct username etc... All is good now.
