How often to service a car?

    After how many KMs should a petrol car be serviced?

    I service car every year, both of them. I am never at the target km for next service but do it

    On your last service did they not put a sticker up with recommendation for next service?

    Cars differ in terms of age/engine to what is recommended, so you should provide that info first

    oil and filters every 10,000 for me.

    You should have an owner's manual/service manual.
    This will tell you how often to service car and what needs to be done at each service.

    What is it, a Prius or some JDM model?

    Irish model stuff would usually be 15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first.

    Have 98 Astra with 210,000 miles on clock have it 12 yrs, service it myself every 10,000 miles,seems to keep going ,will keep as long as the insurance company's let me.
