Is €195 a fair price to change the ATF fluid in a 2013 Santa Fe from an indpendant?

It's on the high side, you should do it yourself and save money

I'd do an oil change myself alright but never done ATF. I don't have ramps so would be doing this on the drive too. €150 be closer to the mark than?

They take almost 8 litres of fluid so the price is reflecting that

Not much of a saving then when you add in the oil and time.

Big big savings actually, you'll be servicing twice a year for as long as you drive a car, irrespective of diesel, hybrid, manual, auto,,I've saved e500 plus over the years with my sealey vac pump, and ramps,,,but maybe you like to throw money away?

Shop around, get more quotes from local mechanics.

Problem is I trust these guys and have used them a good few times over the years and found them very reasonable so I'm reluctant to change. The ATF change sounded a bit steep which is why I questioned it, I'll ring around on Monday and get a couple of prices and see will they better theirs thanks for input/replies too.

I work on my own vehicles the OP doesn't, so if they buy equipment it'll be waste of their time and money.
