City away to Palace next (in the league). Their toughest league game for a while. Hoping Palace can at least get to half time without conceding. Would put City under great pressure.

Here we go with the Palace **** again, for the millionth time Palace are crap their league position proves that

Sorry I am late to this party but this joker has even spelt Phoenix wrong in his user name. Sorry if somebody already pointed this out.

Don't worry, he clearly gets a lot of things backwards.

It's Spurs and Leicester for me, that's were my hope lies. Can't be banking on sh!te teams like Palace and United.

Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and ourselves won at Palace.

    Arsenal drew.

They've only won 4 games at home all season.

    I still have a little hope:D

Should'nt matter that the ball was gone, if that happened in the middle of the park it's a free kick every time. Ref bottled it, he gave us nothing last night.

What did the ref bottle? Jesus Christ the word ' bottle' is so fcking over used.

I don't think people actually know what it means

City were very poor today against Brighton.

Perform like that again & points will be dropped.
    Aguero a huge loss

From the refs angle it didn't look as bad plus the ball was gone

There is nothing in the laws about a ball being gone. If you lose control of the ball in midfield but someone fouls you it's a foul. No different in the penalty area.

Exactly. People get fixated on the player being fouled, and what he does. All that actually matters is the opposition player... if they go for the ball, don’t get the ball, and connect with the man, it’s a foul/pen, and that’s that.

I've searched and searched the rules and just can't find the piece where it says a foul is only a foul if the ball isn't "gone".

Can you link to that criteria please Wheety?

They did what they had to. Aguero is still their top dog but they have too many high class players to call upon for Aguero's absence to have too much of a say.

Watching BBC's MOTD has solidified my belief one of us is horribly biased

It's grand. The refs have to be clever about their bias towards us. They throw in a bad decision in games they know we're going to win anyway just to throw them off the scent. Or something.

Maybe he's just destined to not get penalty calls

    giphy.gif

I remember this one and some idiot pundit saying he had a poor attempt at striking the ball and minimal contact made him go down as a result.

Couldn’t believe the bias! Poor attempt because he’s left foot was taken from him

Didn’t they draw last year 0-0. Miliojevic missed a pen in injury time to break the unbeaten run.

I know Palace home form been awful but I’ve got hope. They are getting pens on the reg and are setup perfectly to play City

    Big game today.

    Hoping for a Wolves victory.

Would be nice if they have a cup final 6 days after the final game of the season.

Jesus Christ lads, the game is done. We didn't get the penalty.

I actually think it should have been a penalty. But I was trying to see why the ref made the decision not to give it. Some refs would have. We know that refereeing is not very consistent but there's no conspiracy against us.

Who is saying there is a conspiracy against us? Are you making things up again?

Good to see Everton winning. Tighten up the top 4 race. Every game matters.

Good result for the 'Pool.. gives Man Utd real hope of top 4 and will keep them honest against City.

Utd will always rise for the City game. Just as everton rise for the Liverpool game. Unfortunately, unless Utd perform a minor miracle, I can't see them beating City.

A draw wouldn't be the most outlandish result I've ever seen.

Nice result that. Keeps top 4 very tight

Didn’t they beat them last year ?

They have spurs and mancs and palace

A draw be enough if we win all ours
