Hi
Currently looking for amp and speakers.....budget around €600......was hoping for Yamaha s301 or s501 + Q Acoustics 3050 (non I).....or similar.....?????

Have you any suggestions?

Unfortunately both the AS301 and AS501 are now discontinued.

How about the RN303 which retails at £249

You would also require speaker cable which is not included.

Hi The Polisher.

In Euro it would work out at the following:

RN303 - 3050 = 680 Euro

RN602 - 3050 = 732 Euro

AS701 - 3050 = 922 Euro

PM6006 UK - F302 = 769 Euro

You don't have to pay in a certain currency and can pay which ever works out cheapest for yourself.

Pricing above excludes speaker cable.

Sorry about late reply.....the 202 doesn't have Phono, Optical, Coaxial inputs......I should have made that clear in the 1st instance .

You can match the RN303 up as follows:

Yamaha RN303 + Dali Zensor 3 - Reduced from £468 / €558 to just £449 / €529

But my preference would be:

Yamaha RN303 + Fyne Audio F302- Reduced from £648 / €748 to just £478 / €549 - This really would sound exceptional with those Fyne Audio F302:

Thanks for reply. The rn303 / fyne combination looks interesting. But am I right in saying the rn303d on your website doesn't have phono input. This I believe is the European version. ????

The RN303D is the UK and European spec model which does have phono/RCA inputs but doesn't have a phono stage for turntables. You could add an external phono stage to the RN303D (Project Phonobox MM - 62 euro)

The only one that has a phono stage is the RN303 which is exclusive to the American market. If you are looking for an amp with a turntable phono stage, optical and Coax inputs you would need to go with the Marantz PM6006UK SE.

I could squeeze this down to 750 euro with the Fyne F302.
