Warnock will hardly play his u23s? Not that I really think it matters, but still.

It sounded like a knee-jerk reaction (which, given the circumstances, would be understandable).

I'd be very surprised if he did it though. If you're going to do something like that, you just do it - you don't just come and out and announce it ahead of time - that's just asking for a warning and setting yourself up for a punishment.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

How good has Matip been since the turn of the year guy hasn't got nearly as much credit he deserves

His injuries have worked against him but he has looked very good at times. He falls into the not as good as VVD but better than Lovern category but then again lots of players do. He'll get hammered when a lapse costs a goal but a lot of the time the criticism is excessive.

Personally I think Lovren is very good to , our 4 CB are probably the best four as a group in the Prem ,

But I can see Lovren wanting to play every week and that may force him to be sold in the summer ,

I'd be happy if we stuck with the four of them and put the money this summer else where,

Strangely I think we will have a very busy summer no matter what happens as

Going :Migs,Karius , Moreno, Origi and Studge a

    Maybe : Lallana , Milner , Lovren , Shaq

    What's needed

Back up : goal keeper, left back, right back, striker,

Starting : creative midfielder , a winger (to push Mane and Salah for a spot)

Think Klopp is a relieved man today got the starting line up wrong yesterday then left it so long to make a change really thought it was a bad day at the office for our manager yesterday

its mad because after the first half you could have said he got it right, They where by far the better team In the first half 1-0 did us no justice,

I feel he just didn't change it quick enough ,

I though Milner slowed down hugely in the second half, in the last few games he has played he is starting to look his age, Before Christmas he was flyinh but he is certainly losing his legs,

Also Gini looks to tired recently,

I'd like to see Fab , Lallana and Henderson away to Southampton , Maybe Keita but could be to attacking

I thought Origi contract is up ?

Migs won't stay he said a lot of time before Christmas he wants first team football and is willing to leave to get it ,,I think he has gone quite as he doesn't want to be seen rocking the boat due to where we are but I think he will push for a move, As bad as he is he seems a good pro ,

Shaq maybe not but odd he hasn't got a minute since the 31/01

    Won't be that busy.

Brewtser & Ox will basically be new signings.

Grujic & Wilson may return to the squad after their loans.

Dont think he got the starting line up wrong as such - We started great and were well on top for the first 25 mins or so. Spurs changed their shape and won back control of the game until practically the last few minutes - but he defintely should have brought Fabinho in before they equalised. Think everyone could see we badly need to stem the flow, and he did nothing to alter the game. Definitely got off the hook.

He missed Switzerland's two Euro games with a groin injury so he's been injured as opposed to unwanted recently.

Ye just strange he was in all our squad's and never came on, even the weekend he was preferred to Studge in the squad,
Maybe that shows how much Jurgen rates him more than anything if he is carrying a knock and still In the squad,

Grujic was saying in the German press he would like a permanent deal with Herta Berlin.

Grujic has said he doesn't want to come back last week, could be reported incorrectly ,

I think we will sell Wilson at a nice 15/20 million this summer, Good player who will do well In the Prem but I feel Liverpool are now a step above how good he is,

How great would it be if we had our own "Rashford" in Brewster

That would be a mistake. City's squad is vastly superior to Liverpool's especially their choices in midfield and upfront.

Liverpool can't keep relying on VVD and the front three to bail them out every game. A top striker, midfielder and probably centre back are essential purchases.

City can call on Agüero, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Mahrez as major attacking threats yet they will buy more this coming summer and not claim Phil Foden will be like a new player.

Hit the nail on the head,

Liverpool as a club have to move beyond players like Grujic and Wilson ,

Decent players but not for where Liverpool are currently ,both can be sold for sums that would cover a top players wage,

Also iv said numerous times who was the last Liverpool player to return from a loan and become a vital first team player ?

Was at the game yesterday in the heights of the Centenary stand - so a good view of the lineups from afar - Thought we were spot on with tactics in the first half. Spurs played a back 5 with their wingbacks basically playing as fullbacks and they were all so narrow the only space was the outlets to Trent and Robertson which we found quite a few times and when we switched quickly enough it lead to chances ... one of which was the goal. Spurs also tried to play with Deli Ali in behind Kane and then Erickson and Moura behind him on either side. They showed a massive amount of respect towards us and we took advantage of that ... i imagine that Pochetino was weary of us always going long behind them to Salah/Mane and counteracted that - thus the deep line.

Roll on second half and he simply dropped Deli Ali in beside Sissoko. He then pushed his wing backs to where they are supposed to be and his back 3 basically now had Vertonghen playing as a left full for the half! It was a huge change that swung the game. We were unable to press them for goal kicks effectively, they got out maybe 6/10 times. We were outplayed in the midfield - Milner was trying to do a solo press a few times and was bypassed with a quick 1-2. Our Midfield 3 were simply outplayed - but also outnumbered. They had Sissoko and Dele deep, Moura/Ericksson a little wider and we couldn't cover Trippier like we did first half as he was more aggressive in his positioning.

I watched Fabinho warm up about 10 mins into the half and was going full pelt. He then was standing in the technical area behing Klopp for ages before he was brought on. Klopp was discussing changing it (After loosing his **** with everyone - then Hendo had to come over and get instructions - not sure if TV screens caught that one). Then he made the double sub with Origi also coming on.

We were dead in the water for long periods of that second half. Atmosphere was flat (there was very little to cheer about) and it wasn't tension as such as much as inevitability of conceding. Sissoko should have scored. Deli Ali might have snatched one and Ericsson was blocked by Robertson. We lost control of the midfield and although Fabinho came on and made some headway we were blessed.

The relief when that goal went in was epic. Love stealing a win no better feeling.

Better news is Spurs will really test City in their upcoming games in PL and UCL. Fingers crossed they'll do us a favour!

I would not consider a new centre back essential, although I would be happy to replace Lovren with somebody more reliable fitness wise.

Hopefully Gomez can stay fit next season because he looked fantastic earlier this season.

and this is the part that so many willfully miss when it comes to assessing ourselves and City.

it's VVD and front 3 or bust.

it makes 79 points in 32 games downright lunacy.

We got 15m for Ibe. If Wilson is sold I'd be expecting a hell of a lot more than 15/20m.

I know it's nothing to smile about. Lovern is best defender in the world though. We'll be fine.

Cardiff play Fulham in there game after they play us it will be interesting to see if Warnock decides to play the under 23's against us to give his players a chance against Fulham.

Don't think he meant as resting his players for another game, think it was more throwing the toys out of the pram because of the decisions that went against them.

Do you want him to take his own players out? He was shouting at Milner to leave it.

Watch it again he ducked out of it, he should be cleaning milner and anyone else around out of it

Whats deee lite? Wan bissaka and sesengon would be 50m+. Chilwell shouldnt/wouldnt settle for 2nd fiddle to robbo.
Volland has scored about 10-12 goals a season for leverkusen. Not great.

De ligt (you need to get some groove in your heart) I also said one of Wan Bissaka, Sessengon and Chilwell. Volland would be perfect for Liverpool - he is consistent with 15/18 goals a season, he is flexible, he is not remotely fashionable and so cheaper than Werner or Poulsen plus he knows Firmino's game inside out obviously.
