No stop cock to cut mains supply to house

    I just purchased a house in Walkinstown and I've started renovation.

    There is no stop cock in the street for mine and my neighbous house. They were apparently cemented over by the council when they redid the paths many years ago!!

    The house needs to have the lead pipe replaced and I can do this out to the footpath.

    How do I get a stop cock and meter installed to the street??
