My mother in law is selling her holiday home in the uk, after sale she wants to divide the sale between herself, her son & daughter. She's asking what's the best way to transfer money here. We have a UK bank account but live here, what would be the best way to transfer it, legally, but without getting fleeced with tax.

    Appreciate any information. Thank you.

I can't comment on the tax element. You could use Currency Fair to exchange & transfer the money from the UK bank to the Ireland bank account.
