Switched on the other morning on the school run and Kennedy was talking about her favourite subject: poo. I swear I've heard her mention it several times before. She seems to have an obsession with it and saying the word. And the way she says it, in that awful plummy mouthful of marbles accent.

I switched it off and my son asked me if I did so because she was talking about poo. I said 'Yes, that's exactly why I switched it off.'

Those two halfwits have turned into pseudo-Bob Geldof champagne socialist/SJWs with that poxy homeless telethon or whatever it.

Sick and tired of listening to it and it's plain as day that neither of them have the first clue about the issue at hand..blaming landlords and babbling on about children sleeping in the streets.

I want to hear music on the way to work in the morning not a load of uninformed semi-political drivel from these two morons as they demand money time and again.

There is nothing more annoying than a radioton. Such patronising and happy clappy rubbish.

This year it's getting quite aggressive almost. Demanding exact figure's and saying "hurry up" on numerous occasions. If you're passing pay €50.
Even trying to rope children into contributing. It's not a very professional way to go about things.

Hayes "And especially on a day like today when it's raining..just imagine waking up to that rain and not having a home"

Lucy "Absolutely Colm..we just need you to give as much as you can..be it 50 euros or a billion euros *laughs* just keep that money coming to help our homeless"

Hayes "Yes right here we are tackling the homeless crisis..the worst humanitarian crises the western hemisphere has ever experienced..when you see buses going by just imagine what it must be like to see a bus going by and not having a home"

Lucy "Yes Colm,it's awful we need you all to give from the bottom of your hearts..even if its only just 20 euros or 50 euros.."

Then they play that excremental Stereophonics song over and over..it's fcking torture at this stage.

How much money did they raise?

    It's called feedback,dude.

I've been listening to Nova since the 1980s and I dislike the current direction the station is taking by hiring these two airheads pretending to tackle social issues.
Constant slagging of Donald Trump too..why must every media cave before this witless nonsense?
What has 'the homeless ' got to do with a supposedly rock radio station?

They raised a ****load last year and there's more homeless than ever so they should quit.

    And resign.

I stumbled across it for a minute while cranking up my phone and I heard her slobbering all over Dermot Bannon and talking about him getting his kit off cos he's 'hot', etc. Ah but equality and all that.

She seems to find everyone hot yet still manages to mention her husband approximately every 10 seconds.

Oh yeah and the time she did a handstand in Lilly's coz she's such a wild woman

Reading the last few posts reaffirms that I'm not missing much since I stopped listening, not even as a casual listener.

In Hayes mind, as long as people are on here moaning about the show he knows they're still listening....happy days...;)

I would say that applies to all broadcasters.

The objective isn't to be well-liked - but to generate a response.

The worst thing for any broadcaster must be to have an apathetic audience who couldn't care less whether you come or go.

The JNLRs are all that matter.

I listen to a few broadcasters that I consider woeful - just for the comic value.

Haven't listened to Colm & Lucy but I daresay they fit into that category.

It's like how ITV has had two completely different shows with the name "Love Island". One in the 00s with celebrities and one this decade with members of the public.
