My opinion on the ole and recruitment process I believe it has been a bit missinterpreted by some people.

When I watched the presser this morning and he basically talking about signing players it was more of a case that he was coming in at the end if targets.

A while back he said that the club like United are always scouting players they had targets for various positions they had been working on for a while and were planning windows in advance.

So I picked it up as he was coming in at the end if the Price as and giving his opinions on players that have been scouted and were on lists. I don't think it's a case that the club are deciding who needs to be signed and no input from the manager I think he will say who he likes but now he has managed the team and if he gets the job going forward he will sit down and say what type if player he feels they need.

I know the club has a profile of player but I don't believe they would push a player on a manger without him wanting to work with that player or fitting him in the plans.

C'mon, everyone, all you down the back...♪ ♫

Getting back into Top 4 this season was a "miracle", but as the song goes - there can be miracles...plural.

So on that note, I will accept the miracle of us not being put to the sword in Paris.

If Giggs was playing today would he be playing on the right wing as an inverted forward and would he score a lot more goals

4 academy players on the bench and then Dalot.

Not expecting much. Hopefully try and make a game of it in the first 20 minutes and see where it gets us.

That's a team sent out to prevent more serious damage.

Understandable to be fair. The squad is decimated.

I fear our midfield will be chasing shadows

Exactly. People saying 3 at the back are being a bit unrealistic.

Great to see 4 academy players on the bench. I know it is due to injuries mainly but still great to see, and some of them will come on tonight no doubt.

    Come on United!

I hope to ****ing good we get no more injuries

I can't remember an injury crisis as bad in a long long time

It's weird, on the match I still have that nervous feeling that anything is possible

    No fear anyway

I think back in 2010 we had a couple of games with Fletcher and Carrick as centre backs, and we still won 1 of the games:)

Was just coming here to post the same thing my good God I actually didn't realise it was as bad as that.

I'd like to think ye have a chance still but looking at the lineups I unfortunately can't see anything other than a PSG win.

It's worse than in Football Manager where suddenly half your team get crippled in one week leading up to a big cup semi final. Always fooking happens me!

A pretty average team in red all things said.... our best chance is to nick an early goal and make them nervous and make them think should they pull back or play. It will take a colossal effort with huge colossal luck I think from us.

I hope you go for it. There is nothing wrong with taking a beating with all the injuries. I think sending the players out with a positive attitude and believing they are capable of causing an upset will benefit them in the longer term.

Shame Pogba isn't there. It's a good formation to exploit his strengths.

The point about 11 internationals gave me a bit of a goo.

There is the potential for this group to play a winning game but it's a long shot.

You're right. Weird the exact same one didn't work with Jose there...

Moving on, limiting Verratti is the biggest job this evening. A class above any United midfielder.
