    Can chiped donkeys still be used in the 2019 BPS scheme

    Isn’t it changing for 2020 where they can only make up half the stocking rate.

    There's no minimum stocking rate in the BPS, Just keep land in good condition

    My understanding is that they will continue to qualify as a full unit for the coming year (2019) and will qualify as 50% of the stocking rate from 2020 on. As highlighted by wrangler the stocking rate applies to the ANC (formerly disadvantaged area) payment as opposed to the BPS payment which only requires land be kept in good agriculture condition to the best of my knowledge.

    I meant the ANC and yes Ive since heard the 50% is coming for 2020, thanks for the info

    The same as a cow, they have to be chipped with a passport and all that.
