I think context says a lot. If its used as tool to say ohh we are the best team in the league well then Yeah it's embarrassing bit to use it to show how much a manager has turned around the sixth best team in the league and got them firing it's pretty good to gauge a job that's been done.

I knew the context of it, mine was a tongue in cheek comment jayo, lighten up :P

Here’s the up to date table with the twelfth game in.

Since Ole came in, no team has out scored us, and only one team has a better defense.

He has to get the job! Is there any other candidate outside of Poch that should be considered?

Also, the club should have already sniffed out if there is even any hope of Poch leaving. If not, then plan for Ole next season.

We need another CB, CM, and RW. I'd maybe also bring in someone cheap for CF. Vardy etc.

If the board were looking outside of Poch and now Ole,Zidane and Ancelotti would more than likely be near top of the list.

    Pereira talking about his strike

"“I’d been practising in training yesterday with Granty [Lee Grant] and it gave me a lot of confidence as I put four in the top corner from exactly the same range.

“So I had a good feeling and I went for it."

    GRANTY!

And that team has the single best defender in the world EVER! If Ramos Maldini And Cannavaro had a Son it still wouldn’t be as good as that lad!

Think the match against PSG is a big ask.

Injuries have been talked about but they have also only dropped points twice at home this season. A draw with Napoli in the CL and a shock loss in the cup, to a team they'd go on to thrash 9-0 in the league shortly after.

With a full squad getting a win would be impressive, but with all the injuries it would be outrageous. I'm going in with little expectations but who knows.

I'm confident we can give a good account of ourselves regardless of injuries. A good performance would be pleasing. Ole and the staff hopefully learned something from the first leg too.

Yea i just cant see us winning with the injuries/suspension... although stranger things have happened in football.

An early red card for psg and early goal for us would make it an interesting night

If anyone had suggested the set of results since Ole came in, they'd have been ridiculed and laughed out of the place. Not even the most biased fan could've foreseen it. It really is remarkable.

Now, things could still go a bit pear shaped from here on in, but it's an amazing turnaround. Not to diminish how well we've been set up in these games but I think it shows how important psychology and mindset are in sport at every level. The players seem to have a lot of belief at the moment which is fantastic.

Long may the run continue, it's great to be back in the conversation again.

Hate to see him out but he is probably least missed one of who is out going by recent form. Reckon dalot will get a run at right wing.

That guy looks a real threat

Hope to see him push on here

The pressure is off re PSG. No one expects us to progress, not even the owners. You never know what we might do.

He actually looks like He can across a ball and take on players it's so long since we had someone to do that on the right wing.

It’s honestly a sad reflection on the Sanchez situation when I’m almost glad he picked up an injury to take him out of the team. He’s just not at the races anymore. I think having Dalot on the right could cover some of Youngs worst traits and having Pogba along side Martial is a partnership that just fits so well.

Who is the last player we had on the right that could do that? Nani when he played there? Di Maria until lvg moved him about? We been crying out for a proper winger on the right. Donno if dalot can do that but it was refreshing to see the difference he made when he came.

It was also odd to see not many praising ole for his subs against Southampton but loads were ready to throw the knives at him when he was forced into change previously.

He got dalot right. He got moving periera right. He got Fred right and He got lukaku right.

I'd rather play Young further forward if he needs to play. He's so bad at defending and now can't even keep up with players. Liable to give away dangerous fouls every game. Since he seems untouchable in the team for some reason might as well play him in front of Dalot so he can release him on the overlap.

United now have more points than they had at the same stage in 13/14, 14/15, 15/16, 16/17.

Behind last season by just 4 points.

Shows how good form is under Ole.

Yeah but I think bangkok's point was that he said earlier in the season "People will be surprised with Dalot" and the reaction to that post was...loud.

Shove your genuine answer Jayo ya swot :D

Ah you're almost glad he picked up an injury?

Doesn't matter what his form is like wouldn't wish him injured

I see some very inflammatory comments by Bales agent today, I doubt they will endear him to the Madrid fans.

While I wouldn't like to spend $100m+ on a soon to be 30 year old, I do hope as well that we aren't sitting here in the summer watching him go to Juve or Bayern for some cut price fee and wondering how they can get bargains like that.

Yeah that’s not a bad shout actually.
