The Klopp list of reasons why they've dropped points...

    ‘Too windy’

    ‘TV broadcasters cut game short’

    ‘Pitch too dry’

    ‘Too windy, again’

    ‘Too snowy’

    'Grass too long'

    'Utd players got injured'

    'Too windy another time'

What next??? 'The other team didn't want us to win'??'

Look when its been nearly 30 years then teams should obviously just bend over and take it. Its not something that you need to work for it's an entitlement at this stage

The 'some positives to take from that' result: Win but not by enough to advance, or draw.

Seeing liverpool struggle just emphasises the job ole is doing with the whole squad not just the first team. Liverpool had nobody able to come on and make a difference yet united when struggling a bit brought on dalot and fred who both set up goals. Lukaku and pereira who probably wouldn't have started got goals as well. Having players on the bench who can make a difference is nearly as important as having a top class 11

Anyone got the league table when Jose left ? Curious about the ground made up on the others.

Look at who's out and consider

Perreira and Mctominay (two academy players) our fifth and sixth choice central midfielders doing a job and keeping a £50m Brazilian on the bench

Rashers and pogba both academy products doing well, what's that old saying.

Mol on oige agus tiocfaidh si..

When put it like that with 50mol fred kept to the bench, it shows mctominey is doing the right things.

He's no big superstar but manager trusts him and its showing on thr pitch and he's still so young.

If he can be the new darren fletcher id actually be delighted.
Fletcher didnt win plaudits but he did a lot of the **** work in that midfield.

I know a few who could do with a Net Spend Table if you've got a few extra minutes.

Seeing a stat there that Liverpool have only won a single away game in their last six.

We're, what, 8 away wins in a row now under Ole? Something like that?

The ball boy today and klopps reaction says a lot tbf.
Its only march and there off by a point so still very good chance of them winning it.

The reaction by klopp doesnt look good, its mourinho'esq like when the pressure is on

Fixed that, Wolves were on 25 points, GD 0

Despite the next game is PSG I can't help but look to Arsenal.

Such a huge game. If United win it will be a 12 point positive against them since Ole arrived in 13 games. 4 points ahead of them in the table.

A loss would be Ole's first in the league, fall back to a 6 point plus on Arsenal and be back behind them again in the league.

Arsenal have a really good run in which would give them a great chance of 3rd or 4th if they beat United.

Arsenal pick up a strange sorta good form, will be a tough game.
Emery bringing back in ozil as well.

Think they are considerbly very weak at the cb's positions.

    Think we'll have em

Makes it all the worse where to think we would of been if Ole or another manager was in charge at the start of the season

I would not be too sure. Ole came in with pretty much nothing to lose, and got a hell of a lot of momentum early on. Start of the season can be very different, and indeed it's easy to get in a rut

The other thing would have been anyone else (including Ole) would have had money to spend over the summer, and we may not have seen some of the players who are now playing out of their skins flourish as they have in recent weeks

Having said that, who really knows what would have happened - certainly not me!

I think context says a lot. If its used as tool to say ohh we are the best team in the league well then Yeah it's embarrassing bit to use it to show how much a manager has turned around the sixth best team in the league and got them firing it's pretty good to gauge a job that's been done.
